Meet the team behind our kits

Before any FlamePro kit reaches a fireground, it’s pushed to its limits, tested, tweaked, and tested again, because we know someone’s life depends on it.

But who makes that happen?

Behind every stitch, every layer, and every innovation is our New Product Development team, the people who live and breathe the details. They’re the ones turning real-world firefighting challenges into smarter, stronger, more comfortable PPE.

Let us introduce you to some of them.

Adrian – Head of Product Development  

Adrian leads our product development team, overseeing the creation of firefighter PPE from initial concept to certified kit.

He plays a central role in developing high-performance, life-saving equipment, including structural and technical rescue suits now trusted by firefighters and military teams across the UK and internationally.

For Adrian, the true measure of success is seeing FlamePro products in use by those who face danger every day. Collaborating closely with suppliers and end-users alike, he ensures that every garment meets the highest standards of performance and protection.

Outside of work, Adrian balances his professional responsibilities with family life, managing the daily adventures of parenting.

Helen – Certification & Testing Manager 

Helen ensures that every FlamePro garment is safe, certified, and fit for purpose.

Much of her work takes place in our in-house R&D lab, where she oversees the most demanding product tests.

Fun fact: Helen once participated in setting the world record for the largest pirate gathering, demonstrating her enthusiasm and commitment to teamwork. With her oversight, FlamePro’s testing standards remain exceptionally high.

John – Technical Product Manager

John brings extensive technical expertise to FlamePro, supporting operations from R&D to tender reviews and on-site problem-solving.

He is known for his pragmatic approach, combining deep technical knowledge with practical solutions that make a tangible difference for end-users.

Outside of his professional role, John has traveled to all seven continents, experiencing wildlife from penguins in Antarctica to polar bears in the Arctic — a testament to his adventurous spirit.
